Have you heard about FUSE or Ignite?

Our partnerships with the University of South Florida System (FUSE) and Florida A&M (Ignite) guarantee admission into select bachelor’s degree programs for eligible students who complete their associate degree at SPC. Students in these programs can enjoy campus life and sports activities at both campuses, and also benefit from a customized academic pathway and specialized student support staff at both campuses. Frequently Asked Questions

Does it matter what campus I come to?

No, come to whatever campus works best for you. It doesn’t have to be where you will end up taking most of your classes. This event is an open house, so you can come any time to any of the participating campuses between 2 and 6 p.m.

What if I am not sure how to pay for college?

Most SPC students get some sort of financial aid or scholarships to pay for school. Professional advisors will be on hand to help you explore your options. You can even apply for financial aid at the event. To apply for financial aid, you will need your:

  • Federal Student Aid PIN (available at http://www.pin.ed.gov)
  • Student’s/Parent’s 2019 W-2 and Federal Income Tax Forms (1040, 1040A or 1040 EZ)
  • 2019 untaxed income (social security, disability, workman’s comp, etc.)
  • Driver’s license or state ID
  • Social Security card
  • Spouse or parent’s Social Security number and date of birth

Can I apply at the event?

Yes, it only takes about 10 minutes to apply, and advisors will be on hand to walk you through the process. If you apply at the event, we will waive the $40 application fee. To get in-state tuition rates, please bring two of the following:

  • Driver’s License or state ID
  • Florida vehicle registration
  • Florida voter registration

Is this event open to the public?

Yes! Everyone – potential students and parents – are all welcome.
